Case of the Polka Dots

Happy Birthday to me! (August 6th)

One of my favorite prints of the season are polka dots. It’s something about this timeless print that I am drawn to, especially in black and white. I fell in love with this dress for numerous reasons, and knew right away that it would serve perfect as a brunch birthday look. The variations of polka dots makes the dress current, adding a twist to a traditional print. I’m also a sucker for a plunging neckline dress, and this one presence an elegance to it. I was able to feel sexy, but comfortable.

I had to add some element of edge to the look by styling it with black retro cat eye sunglasses paired with my favorite chain drawstring bag. Bring it all together with my signature red lip, minimal strappy heels, and that was my birthday slay.
